What the trailers during the Super Bowl reveal in Dr. Strange and The Ring of Power

If you weren't watching the game for the Rams and Bengals, you were probably watching the Super Bowl like me, for the commercials and anticipated previews. Many nerds were pretty disappointed that Disney didn't release a trailer for their upcoming series for Disney+ Obi-Wan, but we still got a trailer for "The Rings of Power," and Marvel released a trailer that has broken MCU fans for "Dr. Strange: The Multiverse of Madness."

The newest trailer for "The Rings of Power" finally gives us a first look at what the series will look like, and it appears they are keeping to the same look that "The Hobbit" films really resembled. The trailer introduces us to a girl, who is supposed to be an ancestor to Hobbits (Frodo, Bilbo those guys), and has that same adventure drive we saw in the Baggins. We also get a look at young Galadriel who is shown to be more than just a queen elf that hangs out in Lothlorien all the time and a shot of young Elrond! And you can even catch quick glimpses of Sauron and Isildur Even though Peter Jackson won't be involved with the series, the directors and producers have promised that this series will feel as though they belong in the Lord Of The Rings universe, but you can make your own opinion by watching the trailer here

Sunday also brought us a trailer for the very anticipated Dr. Strange sequel, revealing SO many things, including a Zombie Dr. Strange and Wanda, possibly the bringing in of Deadpool and Captain Carter. This movie is said to be Marvel's first horror genre film and based on all the variants of the characters we are being introduced to (at least in this trailer), it's sure to be something else and we are here for it! Quick clips from the trailer reveal that the TVA from the Disney+ series "Loki" will be involved in making Dr. Strange, as he stands for trial for breaking the multiverse in "Spider-Man: No Way Home." But what shook fans the most was the tease of Patrick Stewart's Professor X, where we hear the voice of Patrick Stewart say, "We should tell him the truth." The trailer also shows us the Illuminati, a powerful group of superheroes charged by their founder (Tony Stark) to protect the universe, and America Chavez who will break down more in a future blog post. There are a lot of rumors of things going on in this trailer but for me personally, I'm going to wait till the movie comes out and enjoy the surprises as they come, even though I can't help but look for the spoilers.

There are so many other trailers you should check out that weren't aired during the SuperBowl, including, "Lightyear," the new Buzz Lightyear film from Disney, "The Batman," starring Robert Pattinson, the new Fantastic Beasts movie "The Secrets of Dumbeldore" and "Downton Abbey A New Era." 2022 is going to be movie packed and we can't wait to talk more about it.
