Who is Frogman?

Ok, yeah it sounds a bit goofy but we thought Ant-Man sounded cheesy at first and, gosh there's even a Spider-Man, Iron Man, Ice Man, Strong Guy (lol), and a lot more. So why are we talking about Frog Man? Well, he apparently shows up in the She-Hulk trailer and at least for me, I know nothing about him, except that his costume or disguise makes him look like a frog. 

The guy's name is Eugene "Gene" Patilio whose family has a bad reputation since his daddy was a bad guy. So in order to fix this, he decides to dawn his father's old uniform (he was called Leap-Frog) and becomes FROG MAN! 

Deeper Dive: 

Frog Man, or Gene, lives with the grounded characters in New York. His dad was defeated by our favorite (my favorite) Defender, Daredevil and uh was pretty bummed about that. Now Eugene stole his dad's suit hoping it would help his dad forget his past, but I mean when you steal a super suit you gotta try it on. Gene does and accidently (not sure how you do this on accident) but he accidently defeats Speed Demon (some bad guy). Because of this heroic act he decides that he's now cool enough or amphibian enough to be called the FABULOUS FROG MAN!

So where might he fit into the whole MCU? Well it looks like this chum went off to Kentucky to join a superhero team down there, and while he was gone, a Skrull disguised himself as him and was Frog Man in New York. So looks like we'll also see him in Secret Invasion, maybe, or maybe it's Leap-Frog who we saw in the She-Hulk trailer. Any way just another fun hero to get acquainted with. 

And sorry to disappoint, but his super powers don't include eating flies and digesting them, but he can jump real good and has amazing endurance. I'm so intrigued to see what happens with him in She-Hulk.
