Who is Moon Knight?

Marvel FINALLY released an awesome trailer to get us amped up for the series Moon Knight that'll be streaming on Disney+ in March! If you haven't seen it yet, you can watch it HERE. 

So who is Moon Knight? And no, he isn't Poe from Star Wars (same actor different film), but a guy named Marc Spector and also Stephen Grant and Jake Lockley and more. But before all this nonsense, Marc was a good little Jewish boy raised by a Rabbi in Chicago who did little to fight against the Nazis during the holocaust. Marc was always confused and angry by this, so to rebel against his father's pacifist ways, he became a Marine then later joined the CIA. 

Things happened in his personal life that included the CIA, and he decided to leave and start to work as a freelance soldier.  He eventually ended up helping a man in Sudan who brutally beat him and left him to die in the desert after Marc went against the assignment he was given. Marc found refuge in an ancient tomb and died near the statue of the moon god named Khonshu. He was then brought back to life to be the Moon's Knight of Vengence. 

Moon Knight's story takes him to the world of Spider-Man where he takes on Norman Osbourne, he works with the West Coast Avengers, taking on an alias as the "Silver Avenger," and even takes out Deadpool! He takes on many different personas, hence the names at the beginning of this post, and there's more than that!

There really is a lot that Moon Knight does with villains and heroes we haven't quite been introduced to yet and I'm for one excited to see what happens with this series and we only have to wait one more month!
