Who is Franklin Nelson AKA Foggy

 As we continue this journey into introducing more Daredevil into your lives (if you haven't seen the series), it's important we give you some information on the people Matt Murdock surrounds himself with. I'm telling you, just go watch Daredevil on Netflix, it's a lot more fun. 

Who is Foggy Nelson? In short: Foggy is Matt Murdock's best friend and an awesome lawyer! 

Franklin "Foggy" Nelson is Matt Murdock's best friend and a man after my own heart. Foggy is a New York City boy, raised by his father who was a butcher, and his step-mom. His biological mom ran off and was quite a ruthless lawyer. That talent in law was passed down to Foggy who used it to get into Columbia University where he met Matt who was his college roommate. 

After the two graduated, they opened their own law firm "Nelson and Murdock" where they did a lot of pro-bono and really worked for people who couldn't afford big law firm lawyers. They work well together, with Matt being great at arguing and Foggy being really good at research and finding ways to win cases. Foggy should get a lot of the credit for helping bring down Wilson Fisk. Foggy is a go-getter and works hard, no matter the case. He didn't go into law for the money or to help the wealthy get away with things, he became a lawyer to do the opposite.  

Even though Matt and Foggy are best friends, Matt doesn't reveal to Foggy what his night job is till later when Foggy puts the pieces together. Their friendship is put on the fritz and Foggy leaves their practice to work for a larger firm. The two eventually make amends and after realizing that the two really need each other to bring down the baddies, they reunite to make the law firm "Nelson, Murdock, and Page."
