Can we talk about episode 4 of Loki? (spoilers)
Yes, I'm WAY late to the game on this post (welcome to full time parenting with a full time job), but after episode 4 of Loki, we need to talk about what happened.
I don't know about you, but when Asgard showed up at the beginning of this episode and it showed Sylvie being taken by the TVA, I had to know what was up, and I'm sure the rest of you did too. Episode 4 really has revealed a lot about Lady Loki and what the TVA is about, and the possibility that the Time Keepers don't actually exist. How are we going to finish this series in the next two episodes?
First, the Time Keepers actually exist in the comics, but they don't show up until the TVA is actually disbanded, so Marvel and Disney are just being cruel in keeping us hanging. In episode 4, we learn that the Time Keepers were just some robots in a fancy room that were easily taken out by Sylvie. But Judge Ravonna Reslayer seemed a little protective about the fake Time Keepers, so why was she worried about revealing they weren't real? She was the only one who ever saw them within the TVA that we know of, so what is she hiding? There are theories as to what is going on, but let's keep this simple, and get into a certain character when they're revealed later to possibly be the big baddie. (keep and eye out for Ant Man 3).
Second, were you sad when Mobius got vaporized or were you like us and things started clicking that when varients are vaporized, they don't actually die? We just want Mobius to get his jet ski. But when the end credit scene showed up and Loki woke up after being vaporized by Judge Reslayer, we were introduced to some other Loki variants who must have been vaporized as well. It hasn't been revealed yet where everyone who is vaporized goes but, you can see a broken Avengers tower in New York City, so let's let episode 5 or 6 tell us more about that.
Third... if you were curious, according to Yahoo Life, the three Loki's we see at the end are Classic Loki, Kid Loki, and Animal Loki. I didn't know so many Loki's existed, this will be fun.
